LOCATIONS
Braver City
Braver City is an island located to the east of the state of Delaware in the USA. It was constructed in 2012, when Byron Braver sacrificed himself to defeat an alien battleship that threatened to destroy the entire east coast of the US, and was named in his honor.
Since then, it has become the fastest-growing city in the country, and the island itself has been physically expanded in size several times. Construction and expansion is so ludicrously fast in most of the city that entire new buildings seem to come into existence in the span of a few hours, and the layout of the city rapidly evolves as a consequence.
The city has a reputation for drawing in people with incredible combat prowess, and it’s believed it may be because the city somehow inherited Byron Braver’s legendary fighting spirit. However, this also comes with the city and the surrounding area frequently being caught up in violence, often between large organizations – including gangs and crime families – along with collateral damage and destruction.
GLYPH HQ
The headquarters of the organization GLYPH is located here. It’s a partially-hidden building that doesn’t really stand out much, but the interior is filled with multiple floors with a variety of different facilities, including offices, meeting rooms, dorm rooms, kitchens, gyms, laboratories, and many others kept secret even from most of its own employees.
Derring-Do Diner
A little diner located across the street from GLYPH HQ. It used to have a big cartoony space adventurer theme, but most of that has been lost over time, though they still have their mascot Derring-Do Darius. They have an arrangement with GLYPH where field agents are treated to a free dinner after completing the day’s missions, and their menu is surprisingly expansive.
Breaker Bay
Breaker Bay is a city found on the west coast of California in the US. It is quite famous for its beautiful beaches and amazing weather, and for having an absurdly high number of hot people there at all times, whether they be locals or tourists spending their vacations there. The city used to be infested with violent gangs, but most of them were beaten up and sent packing once BB moved there. The city has also suffered from multiple blood biter incidents in recent years…
The BBB&B
A bed-and-breakfast owned by BB that she opened soon after moving to Breaker Bay a short few years ago. It’s much bigger than most B&B’s, and while it normally operates as a perfectly normal bed-and-breakfast, it’s also developed a reputation for being a hub for fucking, which has helped its business in recent times. In addition to BB, a new employee, Bonnie, has also begun working there, and she’s quickly becoming a favorite of a lot of the guests there.
The Blue Bull Workshop
A workshop that was originally founded by the retired pro wrestler The Blue Bull, and has since been run by his family, the Beltrans. It is currently solely operated by Bridget, as the other members of her family left after the tragic death of her father, and she was the only one who stayed behind to keep the shop going. While the business mostly gets by on car repair, Bridget spends most of her free time working on her own inventions, most of which involve explosives…
Hook Haven
Hook Haven is a city located on the big island in Hawaii. It has historically been excellent for fishing, boasting gigantic-ass fish not found anywhere else in the world, which is where its name comes from. It’s a gorgeous city that’s always been a lovely place to live, but in recent times it has become a target for invading hellions, though luckily, they have the local superhero HYPER HAWK to help protect them!
HONGO LABS
HONGO LABS is a laboratory owned by the genius Hongo family, famous for their incredible technological inventions. A few years ago, it was abandoned by them, until the youngest son, Hayato, re-opened it. He continues to operate it, along with help from his hologram AI assistant, HIKARU. These days, they mostly focus on providing assistance to HYPER HAWK.
Hook Haven High School
The local high school in Hook Haven, currently run by Ms. Holt, and the previous school of Hiroto. It’s a big school that performs incredibly well in sports.
Maseleordra
Maseleordra is a far-off fantasy world full of magic, dragons, elves, gods, castles, and monsters. It’s known for shifting through seasons tied to the 12 elements, and for having its creator goddess locked away in the center of the planet. The dreams and nightmares she conjures in her sleep affect the surface of the world, leading to miracles and disasters, prosperity and suffering on a whim that constantly reshape the surface and even change the laws of reality.
ORGANIZATIONS
GLYPH
GLYPH is an organization dedicated to finding and controlling FORMA cards and preventing them from falling into the wrong hands. They do this through recruiting field agents – skilled combatants who carry out missions to help the organization achieve its goals. GLYPH’s field agents are assigned a letter of the alphabet, and higher level agents are sometimes allowed to use FORMA cards that correspond to that specific letter.
GLYPH has locations on most of the major continents, and each one has its own collection of agents. Its North American branch’s headquarters is located in Braver City, USA, and is managed by Malena Meralda, one of GLYPH’s original founding members.

CIPHER
CIPHER is an organization that was created specifically to counter GLYPH. Their guiding purpose is the belief that the FORMA cards should not be collected by any one organization, and should freely go to whichever individual is strong enough to claim them, especially through combat.
Similar to GLYPH, CIPHER employs highly skilled combat field agents, and each one is based on a number. In contrast, however, CIPHER’s agents are allowed – and even encouraged – to do their own thing and nab whatever FORMA they can, so long as they prevent GLYPH from hoarding them in the process.

Gunmetal
Gunmetal is a criminal organization operating primarily out of Braver City. Before they became involved in the hunt for FORMA cards, they were mostly involved in protection rackets. They are one of the oldest of the organizations in the city, and that has allowed them to claim a sizeable territory and recruit a high number of members. Their control was even strong enough at one point to get one of their leaders elected governor of the city, before he was defeated in battle by a mysterious assassin, bringing shame and igniting a desire for vengeance by the organization…
Pyro Punks
The Pyro Punks originally began as a small-time street gang, but after the death of their first leader, Pablo “Fire” Fernandez, over control of a FORMA card, they sought revenge, partnering with a notorious weapons dealer to give themselves more firepower. They went on a tear, quickly expanding in size and becoming one of the most dangerous organizations in the city with no regard for civilian safety.
BallistaBoys
The BallistaBoys are a small-time gang of young boys trying to make some kind of splash in the city, though they have no idea how to do it. For some reason, they have an actual ballista in the abandoned warehouse they use as their base. Er, well, they had an actual ballista, before they unfortunately crossed paths with BB, and it was destroyed.
Round Table
The Round Table is a powerful European organization made up of legendary knights and wizards from various European countries who rose up and defended the continent during the Dimensional Dino/Dragon War in which alien dinosaurs and dragons from another dimension brought their bloody conflict to Earth. They became beloved by the people because of their heroism and have essentially become the new rulers and defenders of the continent.
Diabolus
Diabolus began as a gang of New Jersey-based drug dealers, but have quickly expanded over the years, and have particularly found success operating as a private military company, as their high member count and ruthlessness on the battlefield serves that purpose well. There are rumors that the higher-ups in the organization have made contact with mysterious devils as an explanation for their sudden explosion of power, but this has not yet been confirmed…
Ghoul’s Mercenaries
A mercenary group run by the mysterious masked soldier known as Ghoul. They don’t have a formal name or anything, but you can generally recognize them by the all-grey camo uniforms. While they’re a small team, they’re very skilled on the battlefield, especially Ghoul himself.

Typhoon
Typhoon is a gang based in Braver City. Their originated as a little friend group of kids trying to do good for their community, but as time went on they became wrapped up in the conflict with other organizations and have recently turned more aggressive, violent, and criminal, with ambitions of becoming a much more powerful organization in the city. Their members have developed the ability to manipulate water.
Z13
Z13 is an organization made up of 2 distinct branches – Z13 West, based in Rome, and Z13 East, based in Hong Kong. Both are made up of 13 members, each wielding a powerful artifact called a Zodiarm that grants them special powers. Their overall goal is to maintain the balance of the world by suppressing monsters and people they believe to be amassing power too quickly and dangerously.

SPECIES
Blood Biters
Blood biters are a parasitic species from a realm known as the Blood Hell. They travel to different worlds and take over bodies of the denizens there. They can then bite others and open shortcuts to the Blood Hell that their brethren can use. Currently, there is no cure once one is infected – that person is doomed to either be taken over by a blood biter, or die on the spot once the progenitor of the current infestation of them is killed. While not much else is known about them, they have recently begun coming to Earth, and quietly growing their numbers.
BB is currently on a mission to personally find and kill each and every blood biter.
Hellions
A hellion is a being who hails from one of the Seven Hells – gigantic realms from far beyond the normal physical world that were once used to house parts of existence that were discarded and destroyed, but have evolved into their own thriving spaces. They vary widely in subspecies, shape, abilities, origins, etc. The majority of hellions seem to be mindless monsters who seek to invade the mortal worlds and kill the beings who live there, but there are also many who are more intelligent and have their own personalities and goals.
Guardian Beast Spirits
A group of five incredibly powerful beastly spirits that came to Earth in ancient times to lend the planet their powers and defend it and its denizens. Each of the five spirits selects one person to be their host, granting them their powers until they pass and a new host is selected.

CONCEPTS
FORMA
FORMA are little cards with a word printed on their surface. Despite looking very plain and simple, they hold incredible power and importance, as they represent the very concept of the word printed on them. For example, the [Dog] FORMA represents the concept of a dog on Earth – if the card were to be destroyed, or be taken to another world for a long enough stretch of time, dogs as a whole would be erased from the world. FORMA cards can also be actively used for a variety of purposes depending on the user’s aptitude with them. For example, the aforementioned [Dog] FORMA could be used to summon dogs, talk to dogs, transform into a dog, etc.
Despite their incredible importance, FORMA cards have seemingly only recently come into existence, and those in the know have been scrambling to find them and fighting each other for control of them whenever they appear in the world.
BUBBLES
BUBBLEs are temporary portals between worlds that are created when a being from one world snatches a FORMA from another world. They appear as orb-shaped distorted spaces in the location the FORMA was taken from, and stepping into a BUBBLE will transport you to the world on the other side of it.
BUBBLEs do not last for very long, and once a BUBBLE closes naturally, the FORMA that was taken will vanish from the original world, and henceforth belong to the stealer’s world. BUBBLEs can also be shut down prematurely by retrieving the stolen FORMA and bringing it back to the original world.
Serendeia
Serendeia is a type of magic energy created through sex. It’s ordinarily completely invisible and undetectable, but some beings, like succubi, can perceive it, gather it, store it, and most importantly, use it for a variety of purposes, such as food, fuel for technology, or for casting spells. It takes the form of swirling masses of white, pink, and purple pulsating light.
BOON
A BOON is a special power that some individuals possess. They vary widely in function, and each person’s is unique to them. Possessing a BOON is one of the requirements for someone to become a field agent for GLYPH, and Malena seems to have a knack for locating those individuals and recruiting them.
BANE
A BANE is a special drawback and/or negative consequence of using a BOON. All individuals with a BOON also possess a BANE, and they vary in effect just as much as their counterparts.
BRANDS, COMPANIES, FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, ETC
WHYTE TYGER
WHYTE TYGER is currently the fastest-growing apparel company in the world. They originally began with sporting equipment, like hand wraps, gloves, headgear, etc, but rapidly expanded due to the quality of their products, and now produce everything – sweatpants, shoes, motorcycle helmets, football padding, boxing gloves, dresses, and even tactical gear. Most of their gear has a black-and-white color basis, usually featuring their logo depicting a tiger’s claw marks. BB is a huge fangirl of the brand and aspires to collect everything they put out, despite being too broke for that to ever be a realistic goal for her. The company is currently run by retired professional snowboarder Han Miyeon.
The Bombastic Blastman
The Bombastic Blastman is a long-running cartoon series about the titular superhero character Blastman. The series mostly follows Blastman as he travels to different galaxies and defeats monsters and evildoers with his explosive blast powers. It’s a very popular series with kids, although some adults have fond memories of the live action Blastman movie from twenty years ago in which a young Malena Meralda starred as the love interest and led to many young peoples’ sexual awakenings. Bridget is a huge fan of the show, and has a crush on Blastman in all of his incarnations.
SUPER SHINING SQUAD
The SUPER SHINING SQUAD is a live-action kids show series about a team of colorful, costumed superheroes who protect the innocent from the Shadowlings using their Super Shining Spark powers, gadgets, and mechs. Hayato Hongo is a big fan of the show, and its one of his primary inspirations for his gadgets and decision to help guide HYPER HAWK to becoming a proper superhero.
Beast Boxers!
Beast Boxers! is an anime series about boxing starring a cast of animal-themed characters. It’s moderately popular, especially for its intense fight scenes and hot-ass characters. BB has recently become a big fan of the show, and even started secretly cosplaying as her favorite character from it, Knuckle Bunny. However, she keeps this on the down low, and is too embarrassed to let anyone find out she’s as into it as she is.
Grail Gun
Grail Gun is a well-known weapons development company primarily based in the UK. For most of their history, they weren’t a major player in the industry, but they ascended to fame during the Dimensional Dino/Dragon War, as they provided a line of new, cutting-edge weapons for the knights of the Round Table that proved instrumental in fighting off the threat. They are the developer behind the grapple-greaves and gun-gauntlets that Gisela uses.
Minx Modeling
Minx Modeling is a popular modeling agency run by Malena Meralda after she retired and bought out the modeling agency she used to be signed under when she was young. They have a reputation for somehow always managing to find the hottest and most beautiful models, seemingly plucking them from out of thin air, and skyrocketing them to popularity, leading to them becoming the biggest agency in the world overnight. The photobooks they release always instantly sell out and become incredibly rare and valuable collectors items.
Mano Metalica
Mano Metalica is a mining company run by Malena Meralda. While there’s nothing particularly special about the company and its day-to-day operations, they are famous for unearthing the first ever reserves of a substance called matereon, which has allowed for the creation of proper mechs.
Mirror Masterpiece Studios
Mirror Masterpiece Studios is the movie studio owned and run by Malena Meralda after she retired and bought out several studios she used to make blockbuster movies for when she was young. They are currently the most popular studio in the world, and have somehow managed to release a never-ending string of hit movies at an insane rate in all genres, including adult films, that sell like crazy and review flawlessly.
Meralda Manufacturing
Meralda Manufacturing is a weapons development company currently at the forefront of the budding mecha industry. They frequently provide product and testing for various countries, PMCs, and even aliens (on the down-low). They make everything from basic tactical gear to firearms to tanks, planes, rockets, and, of course, mechs.
MIEDO
MIEDO is a small, mysterious, but deadly private military company established in secret by Malena Meralda. Not much information is known about them, even to experts in the field of PMCs, but their arrival on any battlefield spells doom for all involved.
