This game is about Hiroto early on in his new superhero career after deciding to try and become a good boy after a lifetime of being a punk-ass troublemaker. It’s divided between visual novel story stuff and little dungeon areas where you walk around in first person and fight enemies and pick up items. Combat is kind of a turn-based RPG system with cards as the abilites

STORY SUMMARY
Hiroto has recently taken on the superhero persona of HYPER HAWK, mostly operating around his hometown of Hook Haven, Hawaii. His powers come from his bond with the hellion spirit, Hazird, who was chosen to be the reincarnation of the Red Phoenix Spirit, as well as a high-tech gauntlet called the HYPER HAND, which was developed by the scientist at HONGO LABS, Hayato Hongo, and the hologram AI based on his deceased sister, HIKARU.
Hook Haven has recently come under attack by monsters known as hellions, led by Princess Hellika, who seeks to take over the town to establish a foothold on Earth before moving on to conquer the rest of the planet, but luckily, the hero HYPER HAWK is there to thwart her and her army!
Hiroto gets a job as a handyman at his old high school, which he hasn’t been to in the five years since he’s graduated. He’s not thrilled to be going back, but as part of his becoming the new host of the Red Phoenix Spirit, he is determined to become a new, good person, and make amends to all of the people in his past he’s troubled.
While his History teacher, Mrs. Hampton is very happy to see him seemingly matured into his new self, the headmaster, Ms. Holt, does not buy his sudden face-turn for a second, and is keen on catching him slipping up and revealing his true nature as the worst pain-in-the-ass punk she’s ever had the misfortune of having to deal with at her school.
As Hiroto juggles trying to become a good person, helping the Hongo family test out their combat gadgets, and battling the hellions, he is suddenly transported to another world, this one much more fantastical, with kingdoms, elves, and magic. The voice of the goddess Harmonaea requests his help in saving this world from hellions, and he agrees. After relaying his mission to the elven Queen Hysla, she gives him access to the underground caverns where her forces are barely managing to hold off the hellion invasion, and the hero HYPER HAWK defeats them all, earning the world some peace at last!
Hiroto meets with the giant goddess of harmony, peace, and nature, Harmonaea, who thanks him for his assistance. She explains that she has devoted herself to helping worlds that are in threat of destruction and ruin, but it’s a mission she can’t handle by herself, especially when it comes to battling deadly threats on the surface of the planets themselves. She asks Hiroto to become one of her heralds, with his duty being to go to worlds in danger of being overrun by hellions, and Hiroto accepts without hesitation, while Hazird is less than thrilled about having such a monumental task being bestowed upon his idiot human host.
While Hiroto and Hazird as a pair are vital to the operation of the hero HYPER HAWK, they don’t exactly have the best relationship. They met not long ago when Hazird, then a wounded hellion spirit, limped into the human world, desperate for a human host to inhabit so that he could regain his strength. In the chaos of the hellion invasion, he tried to take over Hiroto’s unaware body, but the young man fought back, and their confrontation sparked the interest of the previous incarnation of the Red Phoenix Spirit, who chose the two of them to carry his power, and he reincarnated into Hazird, transforming him into the new Red Phoenix Spirit, and ostensibly forcing the two to coexist, and walk a new path in life, and hopefully a better one.
Hazird sees through Hiroto’s fake good guy persona and dismisses it as pure stupidity, as he seems to view this kind of selflessness as naive, with the only outcome being eventual betrayal or abandonment. Hiroto continues to stay the course, hoping that pretending to be a good person for long enough will actually lead to him naturally becoming one for real, though he truthfully isn’t that convinced it will work…
Hiroto’s duty as a herald later takes him to a world in which the hellions have already managed to slay almost all of the living species, save for golems and harpies. While flying through the skies in search of the hellions, Hiroto is approached by a young harpy girl named Hezy, who mistakes the superhero for some kind of strange-looking male harpy, and she seeks to mate with him. While avoiding that topic, Hezy leads the hero to the hellions, and he’s able to destroy the portals they use to invade the planet, bringing an end to them…for now, at least…
Princess Hellika, desperate to defeat HYPER HAWK (and claim him as her “breeding stock”), locks the entire school in a prison of ice, and floods the halls with her minions. Hiroto battles through them and then faces off with her. After she’s defeated, the hero’s mercy and caringness turns her lustful thoughts into genuine romantic interest, and she undoes her ice spell over the school.
Before Hiroto can take her to safety, however, he is suddenly attacked from behind, and passes out. The assailant then kidnaps the princess, and makes his departure. Hazird, unable to wake his human host, temporarily takes over his body and returns it to HONGO LABS to get Hiroto medical attention.
Hiroto awakens a few days later. After learning that he’s the superhero HYPER HAWK, Ms. Holt thanks him for helping save the school and the town, and she apologizes for not believing that he really was a changed man. Later, during a check-in with the Hongos, Hazird prompts him to press them for more information on the assailant, as he suspects they know more about him than they’re letting on, but another hellion attack on the city takes attention away from that topic.
The attack turns out to be a false flag, however, as the hellions were not causing harm, but instead simply trying to get HYPER HAWK’s attention. They relay that their princess has been kidnapped and beg him to help retrieve her. Hiroto agrees to do so, and plunges into a hellzone – a temporary tunnel connecting the human world and the various levels of Hell – and pursues the kidnapper to rescue Hellika, as well as get some payback for his ambush.
Inside the hellzone, the kidnapper, wearing a suit and gauntlet reminiscent of HYPER HAWK’s, hands the unconscious Princess Hellika over to another hellion – the brutish wannabe-warlord known as Hargen, who seeks to wed the princess and further bolster his army.
Hiroto arrives and challenges Hargen to a fight, defeating him in front of his army. He shows this hellion mercy as well, and Hargen agrees to stop pursuing Hellika, and Hiroto returns her to her minions.
The Hongos confirm that they did recognize Hiroto’s assailant – he’s their older brother, Hajime Hongo, an ex-soldier who was the first wearer of the HYPER HAND’s first incarnation – the PROTO PALM, which was created by their parents. After the PROTO PALM malfunctioned and killed a bystander, Hajime went on the run, and later, supposedly died in a plane crash.
However, it seems he survived, and continues to use the PROTO PALM. He also became the host of a powerful shadow hellion known as Orochi, becoming something of a dark counterpart to the hero HYPER HAWK. After hearing the story, Hiroto comforts the Hongos and promises he’ll bring their brother back to his senses and reunite them, as stupid and impossible as that seems.
Harmonaea sends Hiroto to the HEARTSHIP – a generation starship that was launched from Earth long ago and has continued sailing through the stars, coming into contact with various other worlds and alien species. The ship is under attack by space hellions, and HYPER HAWK arrives to save the day yet again!
After clearing out the hellions, Hiroto spends some time with Harper, a pilot and gunner on board the HEARTSHIP who helped him greatly in the battle. They connect over their rowdy childhoods, and they have a nice little talk that helps Hiroto feel more confident that he’s actually on the right path to becoming a good person.
Before Harmonaea can return him home, however, the HEARTSHIP’s core is suddenly under attack, which would cause the ship to crash into a planet and kill everyone on board. Hiroto races to the core, and finds Hajime.
Hajime seems to believe that Hiroto has effectively become his “replacement”, and he intends on killing him in anger. Hiroto denies the accusation, and reminds him that his younger siblings are waiting for him to come back home, but his words don’t get through.
Hiroto declares Hajime and Orochi their first ever supervillain arch nemesis, christening them as “VILE VIPER”, and seeks to knock some sense into the eldest Hongo the old-fashioned way. HYPER HAWK and VILE VIPER battle in the HEARTSHIP core room, both utilizing similar techniques with the HYPER HAND and PROTO PALM.
It’s a hard-fought battle, but HYPER HAWK emerges victorious, defeating VILE VIPER and restoring the core. Hiroto tries one last time to get Hajime to his senses, but he rebukes him and swears to return and kill him once more before vanishing.
Back home, Hiroto visits a mysterious grave and drops off some flowers, earning Hazird’s curiosity, though he declines elaborating on the grave’s identity. Hiroto and Hazird reflect on the strange turns their lives have taken recently, and resolve themselves (well, it’s mostly just Hiroto) to continue walking the path of the hero in search of redemption.
