Here with a post that’s kind of a bummer but pretty important lol
My hosting subscription for the site is coming to an end soon, and I’ve decided that I’m not going to renew it, so the site will be going down for good this time
I don’t know exactly which date it goes down. The payment charge date would be June 17, but the actual subscription doesn’t end until July 1, so I THINK it’ll stay up until July 1, but I’m not 100% sure. It’s one of those I assume lol
Unfortunately, the site never really recovered from going down the first time last year, and even after getting as much of it back up, it still gets pretty pitiful views, no comments (except tons of these stupid spam bot ones I have to keep getting rid of lol) and I don’t really blame anyone for that. I don’t really have any new content planned for the site as it is, and even if I did it prolly wouldn’t be enough to really justify how expensive it is keeping the site up
I’m pretty sad about this, especially right after hitting the 5 year mark, but that’s just kinda how it is. It was a fun ride, a good experience, and I don’t regret making it (or even re-making it lol). I don’t necessarily intend to stop making stuff with these characters, but yeah the site itself isn’t going to be one of those anymore

It will be sad to see the site go (again), but I can’t fault you for not wanting to keep paying for it if it’s not getting the traction it did before. I do hope you back up/repost the stories somehow. AO3 would be my suggestion since it has ways of grouping different sets of stories under the umbrella of one series, so you could keep all the Bang Bites stories together if you didn’t want to just have them as chapters for the same story. I know I’ve seen people inject pictures into the stories so you could probably still have them sprinkled through a chapter like you do here.
